Summary

This page will take you to several series of denunciation documents against Jews. Aimé Autrand, head of the division in charge of Jewish Affairs, will take care of the denunciation letters in the name of the prefect. Each series will at least have one negative consequence in that it will identify the concerned Jews to the authorities (prefecture, General Commission for Jewish Affairs, various collaborators) for later measures, including deportation.

Denunciation under Vichy was an essential weapon in the destruction of the Jews of France, amongst many other victims (see: André Halimi, La délation sous l’Occupation, Editions Alain Moreau, 1983).
