Aimé Autrand gives the order to start the census of the Jews "secretly" on June 25, 1941

This order was given by the French 18 months before the south was occupied by the Germans. This document is signed by Aimé Autrand, the head of the First Division, First Bureau (Jewish Affairs) at the prefectorate of Avignon. The fingerprints of Autrand are all over most of the following documents.
